Here is a set of even half an hour I made between two mixing new album under the future Ybal Khan (hop there, for the promotion is placed). It was a bit of a test that I wanted to do on a style that just made its appearance (there is not even 6 months): the Moombahton (apparently be pronounced "Moom drunk tone" or something like that, and finally with a What beautiful accent and all ...).
It's actually a cross between the Dutch and reggaetton house, that's a Dutch holiday in Puerto Rico (or vice versa). The creator of this style is Dave Nada (Nadastrom duo), he created it at during a party organized by his cousin in Miami (or in this corner there), and in which people were rather connected reggaetton. And so when his turn came to mix, rather than scare away people, swinging from electro big as he is accustomed, he simply ask her a Dutch house (whose construction is close to the rhythmic reggaetton) and he slows down, which was a box, and so a new style was born ...
That's the story, for another story (the name), Moombah is the name of a song (the first one he's played in this famous set I supposes) Chuk Silvio Ecomo and, needless to do the etymology of the name, you can see how it happened.
So now that I too m'essais to this style, I would not say I'll play this evening, but maybe if I ever find myself in the same situation, I will use this time "Joker" ... But enough talk, here is the little mix, which is perhaps not very well work (I think I made some pate, but it normally stays clean ...). Regarding the tracklist, I not noticed, but just know that the last piece of the set is the Moombah cited above, and you also find a somewhat different version of one of my latest sound. Now have now to push the bass and furniture, and you move like in the video reggaetton:)
